Frequently Asked Questions

  • Midwest Concrete products are available through a network of authorised rural resellers. Having a network of authorised resellers gives the customer the added benefit of having a local point of contact when ordering and installing  a Midwest Concrete product. Customers can still request a quote for pricing off Midwest concrete which we are happy to provide. This quote can then be taken into the local authorised reseller and that reseller can organise the ordering and delivery on the customers behalf.

  • Midwest Concrete have the knowledge and expertise to be able to custom manufacture for customers specific needs. Please contact the office to discuss your requirements further.

  • Midwest Concrete run a fleet of our own modern delivery trucks. The trucks are equipped with large capacity Hiab cranes which allow us to deliver on farm should the customer require.

  • Midwest concrete septic tanks are manufactured to the Australian standard and are fully certified. A copy of this certification is available upon request.

  • Midwest Concrete office hours Monday to Friday 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Pick up/collection times are 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM (special arrangements can be made outside of these times upon request).

  • Midwest Concrete are able to supply float valves and floats as optional extras should they be required. Float valves, brass bungs and washes etc are also available as spare parts separately should replacements be required.

  • Midwest Concrete have a full colour comprehensive Rural Product Catalogue to assist customers in choosing the correct product for their requirements. This catalogue is available for free download from this website.

  • Midwest Concrete offer a comprehensive 10 year pro rata warranty on all our rural concrete products. Please contact your local authorised agent or Midwest concrete for further details.

  • The size of the trough required will be determined by the type of animal and the number of head you are looking to water in a given day.

  • Concrete Pipes of various sizes are now part of the Midwest Concrete product lineup.

  • Providing the site access is safe and accessible, Midwest Concrete are able to place the troughs in a particular location on farm for the customer.

  • Safe lifting depends on the type of trough. Our step-by-step guide includes best practice instructions for handling 8FT, 16FT and round troughs using rated lifting clutches or slings, in line with Australian Standard AS 4991:2004.
